While researching modern game tables I happened upon a wonderful website called Pool Table Portfolio.  Originally drawn in by eye-catching images of the uniquely modern and completely see-through G1 and G4 styles which each boast the use of a patented Vitrik transparent film that acts like traditional worsted wool by providing resistance, and a 3/4 inch thick heavy weight Starphire ultra clear transparent glass table bed that is both as strong and flat as a standard slate billiard bed, I was curious to see more.  Amazed that such a pool table existed I ventured further to discover a myriad of other stylishly modern billiard tables, game tables such as foosball, companion cue racks and additional accessories such as a fitted dining and ping pong top to allow multi-purpose functions when not in play without losing area square footage.   Equally impressed by the vast array of contemporary finish options available from stainless steel to highly polished lacquered wood, I ultimately landed upon the Tribeca model (shown above).  This beautifully sleek parson’s style table fitted with upgraded pewter colored wool felt over a traditional slate bed was perfectly suited for the entertainment lounge I’d created for a client with high expectations for both quality and aesthetics.  Made to order, this table arrived in components which were quickly and seamlessly assembled on site by a professional crew provided by Pool Table Portfolio.
